Indications/Uses
Antipyretic, analgesic & anti-inflammatory.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Childn 20 mg/kg body wt/day. Childn 12 yr 2 tsp, 5-11 yr 1-2 tsp, 1-4 yr ½ tsp. All doses to be taken qid.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Patient in whom aspirin & other NSAIDs induce symptoms of asthma, peptic ulceration.
Special Precautions
History of bronchial asthma, pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, GI intolerance, skin rashes.
Drug Interactions
Oral anticoagulants, thiazide diuretics, digoxin, lithium, phenytoin.
